Setting up a Moraltel Phone System account.

Setting up a Moraltel Phone System account is a quick and simple online sign-up procedure. When setting up your Moraltel Phone System service, you’ll be able to select a new toll-free number or a new phone number with your area code from our live inventory of phone numbers. We have thousands of toll-free and local phone numbers with area codes in every state of the country. You can also port your existing number to our company. During the sign-up process you’ll select how many users you’ll be needing the service for, and you’ll also choose the desk phones they’ll use at their desk. You’ll be carefully guided through the sign-up procedure. In the future, you can always add more users and phones conveniently in your user portal. After placing your order, you’ll receive an email with a payment confirmation and another email with a link to the Moraltel Secure User Portal. While waiting for your new desk phones to arrive, you’ll have the option to start using our softphone to place and receive calls right away. The Account Administrator

The account administrator is the person that sets up the Moraltel Phone System account. The administrator will have special administrator access over the account. They have access to the billing section of the user portal where they can make payments and view billing reports. The account administrator will have full access to modifying the main menu, sub-menus and all the user extensions within the organization. As agents are added or removed from your organization, the administrator will have full control over activating new agents into the phone system and deleting agents who are no longer part of the call flow.

Moraltel Phone System equips the Account Administrator with everything they’ll need to manage their organization’s telecommunications needs.

Other Admin privileges include:

  • Create users with “User Roles” that have customizable access levels. User Roles include “Office Managers”, “Site Managers” and “Basic Users”. Office Managers and Site Managers are granted permissions that will help them oversee and closely monitor any of the agents working under them.
  • Create “Sites” and “Departments” for multi-location chains and onsite classification purposes.

  • Modify user portal usernames, passwords and voicemail pins for every agent in the organization.
  • Manage any of the answering rules or settings associated with any of the devices that are connected to each user extension.
  • Generate call history reports for any users in the organization.

The Caller Experience

When callers dial your business’s phone number, they will hear  your main menu. If you would like to hear examples of main menu scripts, visit our “Voice Talent Hold Music Studio”. On your main menu you will have a menu of options that callers can select from. Available options callers can select from are keys 0-9 and the star key.

Each key can be customized to perform different functions, such as:
  • Ring a 10-digit phone number.
  • Ring a group of phone numbers simultaneously or in a sequence.
  • Transfer to an agent’s extension number.
  • Go to a customized call queue that can ring groups of agents in multiple types of predefined orders. Callers will have the option of waiting in the queue, with music on hold, for the next available agent.
  • Go to a voice mailbox.
  • Go to a say by name or dial by name company directory.
  • Attend a conference call.
  • Play a recorded message.
  • Repeat the main menu.
  • Allow users of the system to check for new messages in their voicemail.
  • Go to a sub-menu with the same menu flexibility.

Each time a caller is transferred they will be placed on hold and hear music and/or promotions while they wait for their destination. The music on hold can be music from our selection of tunes, a music file that you upload to the system or special promotion on hold presentations with or without background music.
