Moraltel Phone System Features
Auto Attendant
Some companies call this a digital receptionist. You hear them all the time while making phone calls. They’re very popular among businesses and they get the job done. For example, when you call your utility company or cable TV service provider, you’re always greeted with an auto attendant ready to route your call to the department or employee that will help you best. Moraltel Phone System allows you to record the main menu in your own voice or you can have one of our voice talents do the recording for you. Compatible with all devices
Moraltel Phone System is compatible with VoIP phones, desktop or laptop computers with headsets, mobile phones and traditional landlines. Moraltel Phone System is most often purchased by small to large sized businesses that use desk phones in their office(s). If you don’t already have VoIP desk phones, we can furnish your office with state of the art VoIP desk phones that are designed to handle a high incoming and outgoing call volume. Music on Hold and Custom Music on Hold
While talking with a caller, if need be, you can place the caller on hold. While the caller is waiting on hold, they will hear professional on hold music. The service also plays music to the caller when they are initially transferred to you or your agents from call queues. You can use our music on hold tunes, or you can upload your own. In the user portal, you’ll be able to choose tunes from numerous music on hold categories, such as piano, relaxing, inspirational, upbeat, and more. Between music on hold, you can insert Promotion On Hold scripts so callers can hear special promotions and other important company news. Voicemail
All unanswered calls can be pre-configured to re-route to voicemail. Voicemail can be set up for any Moraltel Phone System users in your office.
Voice mailboxes can store plenty of messages as it will have a 25 MB voicemail storage capacity. Also, voicemail greetings and messages are as follows:
- Greeting length – The greeting callers hear after reaching your voice mailbox can be up to 180 seconds in length.
- Voicemail message length – Messages left for you by callers can be up to 300 seconds in length.
There are multiple ways you can check for new messages:
- User Portal – Log into the user portal, click your name in the top right area of the page, then click “Messages”. Each message will be listed on a web page with the caller ID, date and time the message was left, and the length of the message. You will be able to click a play button to listen to each message.
- Voicemail to Email Delivery – You can have your new voicemails automatically delivered to your email address. The new message will be attached to the email as an audio file attachment. You can also have email notification of voicemails, whereas you’ll receive an email notification when there’s a new message without the audio file being attached to the message. You’ll know to login through your phone or log into your user portal account to retrieve the new message.
- Through your phone – Simply dial your Moraltel number from any phone and have your 4-digit password ready.
Voicemail Transcription
Voicemail Transcription allows you the option to receive transcribed voicemail messages that are automatically delivered to your email address. As soon as a caller leaves a voicemail, the words spoken by the caller are converted into text and you’ll be able to read the message in an email that is delivered to you. In addition to transcribed messages, you will still be able to retrieve the audio voicemail messages from your phone, email or the user portal.
Call Detail Reports
You can generate usage reports of your call history as well as the call history for any of the other users in your business or organization. Call details will include the date and time of the call, caller ID and the duration of the call. To generate call detail reports, simply log into the user portal and click “Reporting”. You can also export call detail records to an Excel file.
SMS and MMS
Moraltel Phone System gives you unlimited SMS and MMS messaging. You can send unlimited text, picture and video messages. You and your agents can send SMS or MMS directly from our desktop app or mobile app.
Outgoing Caller ID Number
When you or any of the agents working for you dial out, the party you call will see your business phone number on their caller ID.
Daytime and Nighttime Greetings
You can create a schedule of having your main menu automatically change recordings according to the time of day and according to the day of the week. During normal business hours, your main menu can give the option of transferring the caller to a live person. However, when your office is done for the day and no longer taking calls, you’ll want to tell callers that they’ve reached the office after hours and inform them of when normal business hours are. Also, during the Nighttime Greeting, you can advise them to visit your website for more information or to leave a message in the company voicemail. The Daytime Greeting will automatically resume at the time you arrange in the system.
Call Recordings
Moraltel Phone System gives you access to recorded phone calls made to or from your phone system. You’ll also have recordings you can listen to from any of the conversations each of your agents have. If you’re an avid home-based or mobile entrepreneur, or a supervisor for agents representing your business or organization, call recordings will come in handy for monitoring what works well when communicating with clients, customers or prospects as well as determining what areas could use improvement.
Auto Provisioning or On-Premises Installation
Our free auto provisioning service enables a simple service set up. Each of the desk phones delivered from us to your business have already been activated in our network. Upon receiving your new desk phone(s), you will simply plug the phone’s ethernet cable into your router. Next, you’ll plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet. Your phone will automatically know how to connect to the Moraltel Secure network. You’ll be able to place and receive calls in about 5 minutes or less. If you don’t have a router for each agent’s workstation in your office, we’ll have a Moraltel Phone System installer arrive to your premises to do an install by connecting each of your new phones to a PoE switch. Our customers are always pleased with this service. Before we depart from your premises, your staff will be able to make and receive calls with your new Moraltel Secure VoIP phones.
Use your existing VoIP desk phones or purchase new phones.
Some of our customers already have VoIP desk phones before setting up an account with us, and they’re simply looking for better rates or quality customer service. If your existing VoIP desk phones are not faulty, they can be used with your new Moraltel Phone System account. We support over 100 models of phones. We support numerous brands such as Poly, Yealink, Grandstream, Cisco, Avaya and others. Chances are high that we do support the brand and model of your existing phone. If you would like to use your existing VoIP desk phone(s), we will give you a server address to enter into your phone and have configuration files easily uploaded into it. This procedure is completed in about 5 minutes, and it registers your phone to the Moraltel Secure Network so you can place and receive calls using your Moraltel Phone System account. On the other hand, if you would like to use new phones, we have free Poly or Yealink phone rental for new customers. We also have other brands available to be purchased or rented for a small monthly fee. During the online sign up process, you will be guided through your options. E911
Each phone that is registered to the Moraltel Secure Network is enabled with E911. Each agent in your office will be able to dial 911 from their phone in case there is an emergency.
Bulk User Import
Some Moraltel customers are companies that have numerous agents and need to have user extensions assigned to each of them quickly and easily. Moraltel Phone System enables you to download a CSV template and upload the completed CSV file to your admin user portal. The completed CSV file contains user settings for up to hundreds of users which are activated simultaneously. Need to add 20, 30, 100 or 200 users? Bulk User Import removes extensive tedious work and enables a stress free deployment for large amounts of phones.
Office Manager
The Account Administrator is the person that initially sets up the Moraltel Phone System account. The Account Administrator will be able to set up an “Office Manager(s)” that possess similar administrator access into the phone system. The Office Manager can have special privileges that oversee, for example, 5, 20, 75 or even hundreds of users working under them. Office Managers can add or remove agents, edit user settings for each agent, generate itemized user reports, modify the main menu or submenus, change music on hold and they can create Site Managers for other groups in the organization.
Site Manager
The Office Manager can create a Site Manager that they assign to a specific site. The Site Manager will have similar tools and capabilities that the Office Manager has. After an Office Manager grants access to a Site Manager, the Site Manager will oversee and manage uses in the Site that they’re assigned to. The Office Manager is able to create multiple Sites and Site Managers. Some companies have unique needs for special projects or call management scenarios when organizing agents for departments in their organization, and this is where the user role of the Site Manager comes in handy.

Text-to-Speech (TTS)
When recording your main menu or any of the submenus that your callers hear when they call your business, you’ll be able to record the menu in your own voice, or you can use one of our life-like Text-to-Speech (TTS) voices. We have numerous male and female voice characters to select from. We also have actual people who are professional voice talents that can record your script.
