IPAT Processed Voice Call Quality
IPAT (Instant Packet Arrangement Transport)
We have potential customers come to us that use other phone system service providers all the time. When they make inquiries concerning call quality, they all have some of the same issues.
These include:
- Blatantly obvious that voices are arriving late during a business phone conversation.
- Garbled voice effects.
- Odd clicking sounds.

Moraltel customers enjoy the absence of these low-quality disturbances. Not only do we want the service to work well for our customers, but we also want outstanding service for our business calls as well. The technology behind our phone system is the same that we use for our customers.
Sometimes we’re asked what specifically contributes to the call quality of cloud phone systems.
Two key factors are:
- Proper codecs – There are numerous codecs that are used in telecommunications. A very reliable codec is the G.711. This is one of the codecs that we utilize, and it’s proven to continuously deliver smooth processed audio. It uses Packet Loss Concealment, which helps the reconstruction of speech data while minimizing choppy audio.
- Use of a high-quality session border controller – SBC’s provide security, connectivity, and quality of service. SBC’s are often used by large businesses along with firewalls and intrusion prevention systems to enable VoIP calls to and from a protected enterprise network. All calls that connect to or from our customers’ phone numbers, desk phones, softphones, or mobile apps, are routed through the Moraltel Secure Session Border Controllers.

In addition to the two key factors explained a moment ago, Moraltel Secure decided to take perfecting voice call quality one step further. It’s vitally important to our engineers to make sufficient effort for determining what’s needed to ensure our customers do not experience business phone service issues. If we can get the phone call audio transmitted to the other end with absolutely no jitter, latency, or packet loss and continuously process the same output effect, it will keep phone conversations running optimally smooth. In order for VoIP phone systems to operate without flaw and avoid unsatisfactory call quality, the audio data packets need to be delivered in the correct sequence. The audio data packets need to be quickly transmitted, properly arranged upon reaching their destination, without flaw and decoded instantaneously. We’ve carefully enforced each of these guidelines and titled this procedure “Instant Packet Arrangement Transport” or “IPAT”. Technical calculations were measured in fine detail down to the millisecond, ensuring that latency (voices arriving late to or from the person you’re talking with), echoes, garbled and unwanted sound effects are eliminated. Although these disturbances, at low levels, are to an extent tolerated by many businesses, IPAT provides a reliable outlet businesses won’t regret, as the overall clarity of Moraltel phone calls has been substantially benefited.
IPA has enabled us to reach out to more upscale businesses as they are very reliant on high-quality business phone service. We make transitioning to Moraltel technology easy to adapt to with ongoing support for customer retention staying power. The moral principles and quality of our phone service continues to “speak for itself”!

Our engineers were extremely dedicated towards the development of IPAT. The time and money we spent improving call quality involved extensive planning. We truly feel the effort we put forth, which includes research and new equipment being developed, tested, and added into our network infrastructure, will, not only meet the expectations set by our clients and customers, but will pave the way into the future as we continue to deliver exceptional voice call audio quality.
The IPAT technology is included free of charge with all Moraltel voice services. If you would like to introduce IPAT to your business, we welcome you to fill out the Sales Inquiry form or call 1-844-200-5171.
